so today i walked around the colliseo and the foro roma (forum). the ruins are absolutely remarkable. there are so many pieces that you try and make sense of, trying to figure out what they could have been or are. and the scale of some of the ruins are just amazing. it really would be a great thing to see in whole, unfortunately.
the colliseo was great. the people in roma are trying to recreate a few areas inside to replicate what it actually would ahe been like without the erosioin and attacks. its nice to see, and im glad they are only doing it on a very very small section because seeing the ruins is very impacting. other than that, we walked around alot today and thats about it. we have to catch a train early tomorrow morning to get to macerata. so hopefully then i wont have to pay for internet anymore and well see what other good things that city brings.
